First Baptism!

Sarah Joy's picture

This is Brother Ismael baptizing a new sister in the Lord. We have had more baptisms since then. It's so wonderful to see the Lord working in the lives of people, as they are being baptized, discipled, and their lives are being changed by the power of God!

First Service

We've teamed up with Bro. Ismael Jaimes, and are already holding services in his home.  We are trying to see these new converts baptized in the next month or so, and also to see them discipled.  Of of the ladies here will allow us to use her back patio for services, which is about twice the size of this living room.  We are meeting together daily with Bro. Ismael and his wife, planning, creating printing materials, and praying.  This is what we had hoped for; to hit the ground running!

Please continue to pray for us!

We Have Arrived in Tizayuca Mexico

Ryan's picture

We arrived in Tizayuca Mexico on Friday. We moved all of our things into the apartment and then we had to go out and buy furniture. Then on Sunday we had a service in the house of the Missionary Ismael Jaimes. We had 5 people in attendance. This week we have been planning how we are going to start the Church. As of now we are just going out daily and knocking on doors trying to win people to Christ and bring them to the meetings at the house of Bro. Ismael. Thank you for prayers and win souls here in Mexico.

Update for Wednesday

Sarah Joy's picture

We made it to Obragon!  Today we are going to rest and we will head out to take the long road to Hidalgo in the morning.  The border crossing went without too much trouble, even though we took the wrong line and had to back up the trailor and turn around. We are enjoying Mexico, travelling through some beautiful territory, and refreshing our Spanish!  What a blessing it is to have Bro. Sanchez with us!

Ready to roll!

Sarah Joy's picture

Hi there!  I just wanted to let you all know that we are all resting in a hotel, very close to the border tonight.  Tomorrow, we are going to head down to a friend's house, about six hours into Mexico, and from there, on to our new home in Hidalgo.

I'll update again as soon as I can!
